Facing elimination, Oklahoma State bounced back on Saturday, topping Grand Canyon 5-3 to stay alive in the Tucson Regional.
After allowing 14 runs to U.C. Santa Barbara in the a blowout loss on Friday, OSU was strong from the mound on Saturday and that started with the Cowboys’ lefty.
Parker Scott earned his eighth win over the season, going six and two-thirds innings, allowing just three runs, striking out four and walking two.
“Obviously, we played bad yesterday but turned things around,” Scott said in a postgame interview. “Hopefully, we’ll catch a spark.”
Scott has seen the Antelopes before, earning his third win of the season against GCU.
