STILLWATER — For all the positive steps Yor Anei took the past year on the basketball court, he’s reverted back to an old troubling form the past week.
Oklahoma State’s sophomore center cannot stay out of foul trouble.
“I thought he had passed that, to be perfectly honest,” OSU coach Mike Boynton said. “It’s kind of been a step back for him here in the last couple games, because all of his fouls weren’t just trying to block shots.”
The 6-foot-10 Anei is one of the nation’s top shot blockers. But in Sunday’s loss to Wichita State, he was held to just less than 12 minutes on the floor.
