Marcus Watson, a freshman guard on the Oklahoma State men's basketball team, is not facing criminal charges after a woman filed a protective order against him for alleged rape.
Marshall Scott of Pistols Firing Blog first reported this news Friday afternoon. Scott said someone in the Payne County District Attorney's Office told PFB that the office determined not to pursue criminal charges after examining the Oklahoma State University Police Department's investigation.
The O'Colly talked to assistant district attorney Debra Vincent, who said the office made the decision Oct. 30. She said the Oklahoma State University Police Department shared its information from the investigation, and the DA's office spoke to the sexual assault nurse examiner.
