For the second straight offseason, Oklahoma State basketball coach Mike Boynton has landed a graduate transfer point guard.
USC Upstate point guard Mike Cunningham announced his commitment to the Cowboys on Tuesday via Twitter. Cunnigham averaged 13.7 points and 3.0 assists in 31 games (27 starts) for the Spartans in his junior season. As a graduate transfer, Cunnigham is immediately eligible for the 2018-19 season.
Cunningham will provide immediate help to an OSU roster that lost its primary two point guards from last season. Kendall Smith spent one season in Stillwater as a grad transfer, while Brandon Averette has elected to transfer.
