STILLWATER — Oklahoma State freshman guard Marcus Watson will not face criminal charges after a protective order was filed last month by a female OSU student for alleged rape, according to a report by Pistols Firing Blog.
According to the website, the Payne County District Attorney said no charges will be filed after reviewing the investigation by the Oklahoma State University Police Department.
Attempts to reach the district attorney by The Oklahoman has been unsuccessful.
Watson still must appear in court on Nov. 26 regarding the restraining order, which stemmed from an alleged incident in his on-campus apartment Oct.
