Brad Underwood's program makeover received another boost Friday when Michigan prep guard Amauri Hardy committed to the Cowboys.
Hardy is a three-star prospect who plays for North Farmington High School and the fourth recruit in OSU's 2017 recruiting class. He joins Florida preps Latravian Glover and Zach Dawson and big man Souleymane Diakite, a native of Africa, in the class.
A 6-foot-1, 175-pound point guard, Hardy chose the Cowboys over Georgia and Georgia Tech. With OSU losing senior Phil Forte and potentially Jawun Evans to the NBA, there's a need to restock the guard spot. And Underwood and his staff are well on their way, with Hardy and Dawson.
