OSU basketball: Mike Boynton reacts to former assistant Lamont Evans’ guilty plea

STILLWATER — A day after his former top assistant pleaded guilty to federal charges, Oklahoma State basketball coach Mike Boynton said he continues to pray for him.

Evans, 41, entered the plea Wednesday in Manhattan federal court to a charge of conspiracy to commit bribery, stemming from an FBI investigation into corruption throughout college basketball.
