STILLWATER — Oklahoma State redshirt sophomore guard Michael Weathers stepped onto Eddie Sutton Court to a brief ovation Wednesday night, and he soon provided a reason for a thunderous one.
Weathers had his first game action as an OSU basketball player in Wednesday’s 82-60 victory over UTSA. He sat out last season after transferring from Miami (Ohio) and missed the Cowboys’ opener, having only briefly returned to practice after a two-month suspension, the result of reportedly stealing a woman’s wallet at a Stillwater bar. Last week, Weathers pleaded guilty to a misdemeanor charge of knowingly concealing stolen property.
