LAWRENCE, Kansas — The strain of being Oklahoma State’s leader in minutes seems to be catching up to Lindy Waters.
The junior guard is dealing with tendinitis in his left knee, coach Mike Boynton said after OSU’s 84-72 loss at Kansas on Saturday. Waters wore a brace on the knee during practice Friday, and whenever he was on the bench Saturday, he held a heating pad on the knee.
“Add it to the list, man,” said Boynton, whose team is down to seven available scholarship players after exits, dismissals and injuries.
Waters, who has started all 23 of OSU’s games and leads the Cowboys at 33.
