OSU basketball journal: Cowgirls add height, depth

Though nearly half of his 15-player roster is new, Oklahoma State women’s basketball coach Jim Littell sees a mix of players that will change how the Cowgirls can attack opponents this season.

“We've added a lot of size, a lot of depth to our roster,” Littell said Tuesday at OSU’s men’s and women’s basketball media day. “If I had to go over our strengths, it would be our size, our athleticism, and the ability to go pretty deep in the bench.”

Littell has eight returning players, despite the departure of three regular starters — LaTashia Jones, who concluded her eligibility, Braxtin Miller, who transferred to Ohio State, and Jaden Hobbs, who transferred to Fort Hays State.
