OSU basketball: Isaac Likekle ruled out against Georgetown with illness

STILLWATER — Oklahoma State was without its leading scorer against Georgetown.

Cowboys sophomore point guard Isaac Likekele was ruled out before Wednesday’s game due to an illness, an OSU official confirmed to The Oklahoman.

Likekele leads OSU with 13.7 points per game. He also averages 5.3 rebounds, 5.0 assists and 2.9 steals. He’s coming off a huge NIT Season Tip-Off tournament. He scored a career-high 26 points and had five rebounds, eight assists and five steals in a win over Syracuse.

Likekele’s absence ends the Cowboys’ streak of 34 straight games with the same starting lineup — Likekele, Thomas Dziagwa, Lindy Waters III, Cam McGriff and Yor Anei.
