STILLWATER — Isaac Likekele isn’t one for excuses.
Oklahoma State’s star sophomore point guard missed a month with an undisclosed illness. That was expected to make an impact when he rejoined the Cowboys’ lineup Dec. 29.
Through two Big 12 games, it appears to be true. He’s made just 2 of 8 shots, 3 of 9 free throws and committed 10 turnovers.
But Likekele isn’t buying into that theory.
“I haven’t played like myself,” Likekele said. “I gotta take the initiative myself. I was trying to be one of the team leaders on this team.
