STILLWATER — Oklahoma State freshman guard Marcus Watson was suspended from all team activities last week after a protective order was filed by a female OSU student.
The female student filed the protective order as a “victim of rape” due to an alleged incident at Watson’s apartment on Oct. 19, according to a petition for protective order filed in Payne County that was obtained by The Oklahoman.
Watson has not been arrested or charged.
"OSU is aware of the request for protective order and takes such matters seriously," OSU said in a statement over the weekend.
