Eddie Sutton’s Hall of Fame enshrinement will reportedly have to wait a little longer.
The Naismith Memorial Basketball Hall of Fame intends to postpone its 2020 Hall of Fame induction to next spring, the Hall’s chairman of the board of governors Jerry Colangelo told ESPN.com.
The enshrinement weekend was originally set for Aug. 28-30, with alternate dates of Oct. 10-12 also set. But Colangelo said those are “just not feasible” due to the coronavirus pandemic. Colangelo told ESPN.com that the board of governors meet June 10 to discuss spring dates.
"We're definitely canceling," Colangelo told ESPN.
