STILLWATER — The last time Oklahoma State won a conference game, the Cowboys had 10 scholarship players.
The seven left standing all made contributions in the Cowboys’ 68-61 victory over TCU on Monday in Gallagher-Iba Arena, snapping an eight-game Big 12 losing streak that dated to Jan. 12.
Two days after setting a career high with 23 points in a loss to Texas, Thomas Dziagwa scored just as many, sinking six 3-pointers. Lindy Waters (14) and Isaac Likekele (13) were behind him, combing for 10 of OSU’s final 12 points. Cam McGriff struggled offensively for the second straight night, missing all seven of his shots, but his defense, rebounding and free-throw shooting added necessarily value for the Cowboys (10-16 overall, 3-10 Big 12).
