Curtis Jones' breakout Gallagher-Iba Arena debut earned the Oklahoma State junior guard co-Big 12 Newcomer of the Week honors, the conference announced Wednesday.
Jones, who sat out the fall semester after transferring midseason from Indiana last year, scored a career-high 23 points in OSU's 82-73 victory over Central Arkansas. He hit five of his 10 3-point attempts and added six rebounds, also a career best.
Jones shared the honors with Oklahoma's Miles Reynolds. The Cowboys return to the court Saturday when they host Texas A&M-Corpus Christi.
