OSU basketball: Curtis Jones leads Cowboys past Central Arkansas in GIA debut

STILLWATER — Curtis Jones watched a dozen games from the sideline of Eddie Sutton Court before he finally got the chance to play in one Friday.

Jones led Oklahoma State to a 82-73 victory over Central Arkansas, scoring a career-high 23 points off coach Mike Boynton’s bench in his Gallagher-Iba Arena debut and second game eligible after last year’s midseason transfer from Indiana. OSU outscored the Bears by 21 with Jones, a junior guard, on the floor.

“I’ve been practicing here for a long time,” he said. “To get to chance to play in Gallagher, it was fun.
