A late jumper from new addition J.K. Hadlock saved Oklahoma State from an infamous defeat.
Hadlock, suiting up for the Cowboys for the first time Saturday, provided the final basket in OSU’s 85-46 loss to Kansas State in Bramlage Coliseum, saving the Cowboys from matching the program’s worst loss since 1933.
He was one of five walk-ons on the floor for the game’s end, none of whom had been in uniform for the Cowboys a month ago. Except for former student manager Tanner Taylor, all were products OSU’s Jan. 17 walk-on tryout.
Here are three takeaways from the Cowboys’ second-largest loss in 86 years.
