Oklahoma State signee Cade Cunningham is the national high school player of the year.
Cunningham was named the winner of the Naismith High School Player of the Year Trophy on Wednesday.
He is the first Cowboys signee to win the award, which has been awarded to NBA stars such as Kobe Bryant, LeBron James and more.
Cunningham is also a McDonald’s All-American selection. The Arlington, Texas, native who stars at Florida’s Montverde Academy is ranked No. 1 overall in the senior class by multiple recruiting services.
