STILLWATER — Oklahoma State’s strong start to the season hit a sour note Sunday afternoon.
The Cowboys were overwhelmed by Wichita State, falling behind with poor starts to both halves in an 80-61 loss at Gallagher-Iba Arena.
OSU (7-2) has lost two straight games since winning the NIT Season Tip-Off Tournament in Brooklyn and cracking the USA Today Coaches’ Poll for the first time in five years.
The Cowboys were also without star point guard Isaac Likekele for both games due to an illness. There is no update on when he will rejoin the lineup.
But OSU still battled Georgetown.
