Brad Underwood’s program makeover received another boost Friday when Michigan prep guard Amauri Hardy committed to the Cowboys.
Hardy is a three-star prospect who plays for North Farmington High School and the fourth recruit in OSU’s 2017-18 recruiting class. He joins Florida preps Latravian Glover and Zach Dawson and big man Souleymane Diakite, a native of Africa, in the class.
A 6-1, 175-pound point guard, Hardy chose the Cowboys over Georgia and Georgia Tech. With OSU losing senior Phil Forte and potentially Jawun Evans to the NBA, there’s a need to restock the guard spot. And Underwood and his staff are well on their way, with Hardy and Dawson.
