Mike Boynton doesn’t wait until the start of Big 12 play to challenge his Oklahoma State men’s basketball team.
The Cowboys announced their 2019-20 non-conference schedule on Thursday morning. KenPom listed OSU as No. 5 in strength of schedule during the previous season, and Boynton has assembled another list of tough matchups. The Cowboys will face eight non-conference teams that ranked in the KenPom top 100 at the end of the 2018-19 season and five that made the NCAA Tournament.
OSU will start the season Nov. 6 against in-state foe Oral Roberts at Gallagher-Iba Arena. Seven of the 12 non-conference games are in Stillwater.
