Oklahoma State’s top basketball recruit is now a McDonald’s All-American.
Cade Cunningham was selected Thursday to play in the annual game, becoming the eighth player to have signed with or played for the Cowboys to earn that honor. The game is set for April 1 in Houston.
Other OSU players to be named McDonald’s All-Americans include Glendon Alexander, Byron Eaton, Gerald Green, James Anderson, Le’Bryan Nash, Marcus Smart and Jawun Evans. Alexander started his college career at Arkansas before transferring to OSU. Green never suited up for the Cowboys, instead electing to enter the NBA Draft.
A 6-foot-6 five-star recruit, Cunningham is regarded by many recruiting services as the nation’s top guard in the 2020 class.
