TULSA – A Sunday trip to Tulsa provided two significant opportunities for Oklahoma State’s basketball program.
An open practice allowing area Cowboys fans a peek at the team.
Open arms to a Sutton – Scott Sutton – who’s coming back to OSU as an assistant coach on Mike Boynton’s staff.
Boynton announced Sutton’s hiring Sunday, in advance of his team’s open workout at Tulsa Memorial High School. The youngest son of Cowboys legend Eddie Sutton, Scott spent the past 18 years as the head coach at Oral Roberts University.
Scott, who played two seasons for his dad at OSU, went 328-247 at the school and finished as ORU’s all-time wins leader before his firing earlier this year.
