STILLWATER — Oklahoma State’s men’s new-look basketball team has versatility and a lot of hype.
The Cowboys finalized their top-10 recruiting class on Wednesday, signing a talented trio from across the continent to join early signees Cade Cunningham, Montreal Pena and Rondel Walker.
OSU added Canada’s top player, Matthew-Alexander Moncrieffe along with dynamic scorer Donovan Williams and sharp-shooting graduate transfer Ferron Flavors Jr.
The class is ranked No. 4 by Rivals.com and No. 9 by 247Sports.com.
It’s also the biggest step in coach Mike Boynton’s plan to rebuild the program.
The Cowboys are coming off an 18-14 season, overcoming an 0-8 start to Big 12 play to finish 7-11 in conference, ending with four straight wins.
