STILLWATER -- The obligatory team photo, celebrating a Big 12 Tournament championship at Chickasaw Bricktown Ballpark, revealed plenty of index fingers pointed skyward, some pistols firing and an array of joyous smiles.
There, too, overjoyed, was Oklahoma State sophomore pitcher Carson Teel, captured hoisting a 2017 Big 12 Champions placard into the air.
“This is pretty awesome,” he'd say, only hinting at what it all meant for him to not only be a Cowboy, but a major contributor to the club's late-season title run.
Truly, it was right where he belonged, even if it was hardly obvious, even to Teel for a while.
