OSU baseball: Teel, Boone earn Big 12 weekly honors

For the second straight week, a pair of Oklahoma State baseball players garnered Big 12 weekly awards.

OSU redshirt junior left-hander Carson Teel was named the Big 12 Pitcher of the Week on Monday, while sophomore outfielder Trevor Boone was the conference's co-player of the week.

Sunday, Teel pitched the Cowboys to their fifth straight Big 12 victory, allowing one run in a 142-pitch complete game against Kansas State. He struck out nine while allowing six hits, all singles, to earn his third conference pitcher of the week honor. It was Teel's first career complete game.
