STILLWATER — Roughly two years ago, Oklahoma State starting pitcher Jensen Elliott watched teammate Parker Scott go through rehabilitation from a serious elbow injury.
Then Elliott found himself on the sideline after Tommy John surgery. Scott, only a few games into his recovery from ulnar nerve surgery, tore his UCL, requiring Tommy John surgery as well.
Oklahoma State heads into its baseball regional at Chickasaw Bricktown Ballpark with Elliott and Scott heading up the pitching rotation, but the journey to get to this point has been a long one.
Starting the first two games of the Big 12 Tournament last week, Scott and Elliott combined to allow one run and six hits over 12 innings, setting up the Cowboys for their title run.
