IOWA CITY, IOWA — Iowa scored seven runs in its final two at-bats to beat 12th-ranked Oklahoma State 16-14 Saturday at Duane Banks Field.
OSU's Michael Neustifter was 4-for-5 at the plate with two doubles and a home run. The third baseman also drove in a career-high six runs. Trevor Boone had three hits and two RBI, while Christian Funk drove in three runs.
The Cowboys (28-16-1) used four pitchers and allowed 14 hits while issuing seven walks and hitting four batters. Reliever Ben Leeper (1-2) took the loss as he gave up six runs on four hits in 1 2/3 innings.
