STILLWATER — When Oklahoma State takes the baseball field for the first time in 2020 on Friday, the Cowboys will turn to a powerful right-handed pitcher.
Not a senior. Not a junior. Not even a sophomore.
Freshman Bryce Osmond.
Then, the Cowboys will turn to a talented left-hander Sunday with freshman Justin Campbell taking the mound at Grand Canyon University in Phoenix.
“You notice there’s a lot of talent straight off the bat,” OSU sophomore pitcher Brett Standlee said. “The arms are there, the pitches are there, the pitch ability is there.
“So, it’s really exciting to see a bunch of young guys that will have a chance to make a huge impact this season.
