STILLWATER — Former President George W. Bush has agreed to throw out the first pitch in Oklahoma State’s new baseball stadium, according to the Tulsa World.
Bush will throw out the first pitch on March 20 when the Cowboys open O’Brate Stadium against Big 12 foe TCU.
According to the report, Bush is a longtime friend of OSU donor Cecil O’Brate, who made the signature donation of $35 million for the new $60-million stadium.
O’Brate Stadium has a capacity of 8,000, with 3,500 permanent seats, 1400 premium seats and 11 suites.
Tickets for the opener and all other single-game tickets will go on sale at 9 a.
