OSU Baseball: Cowboys To Cut For Cancer

I was in Stillwater two years ago when Cowboys pitching coach Rob Walton sat down to have his head of flowing locks turned into stubble.

For a good cause.

The OSU baseball team will be at it again Tuesday night, following its mid-week game against Arkansas-Little Rock, with what is becoming an annual event: St. Baldrick’s Brave the Shave.

The St. Baldrick’s Foundation is a charity that funds research to find cures for children with cancer. Among its signature fundraisers are these head-shaving events.

That 2013 shave-a-thon at Reynolds Stadium was pretty cool, with players and coaches and more surrendering their hair in a show of support and and in an effort to raise awareness.
