STILLWATER — The Shockers have won six of seven since falling to the Cowboys a few weeks ago, and with as clutch as Wichita State hit Tuesday, it’s easy to see why.
Wichita State beat Oklahoma State 13-6 in O’Brate Stadium thanks in large part to the Shockers hitting .533 (8-for-15) with runners in scoring position. The Cowboys hung with Wichita State in the hitting department. Both teams had 13 hits, but OSU left 12 on base and was 3-for-10 with runners in scoring position.
“You’ve probably had some good days — every now and then you have a bad day,” OSU coach Josh Holliday said.
