STILLWATER — The Oklahoma wind came sweeping down the plain Friday, and if there was wheat planted in O’Brate Stadium, it would’ve done more than waving.
The Oklahoma State baseball fell to Texas 5-3 in Game 1 of the teams’ three-game series. It’s a Top 15 matchup with the Cowboys coming in as the No. 13 team in the country hosting No. 15 UT. The Cowboys entered Friday 16-1 at home on the year, but that Oklahoma wind spent the early part of Friday evening playing for Texas.
UT had a runner on second with two outs in the third inning when Jack O’Dowd hit a ball that looked to be about 10 feet foul.
