STILLWATER — Oklahoma State's Andrew Rosa stood in the on-deck circle Tuesday night, watching Oral Roberts intentionally walk Dustin Williams, understanding the looming opportunity.
And it was an opportunity that had escaped him before.
Not this time.
Rosa delivered a line-drive, ground-rule double that bounced over the fence in left-center field, chasing home the winning run in walk-off fashion in the 11th inning, sending the Cowboys to a 7-6 win at Reynolds Stadium.
“I've had a couple opportunities to walk games off in my four-year career here, and I wasn't able to do it,” Rosa said.
