Friday, Oklahoma State officially announced its plans to add a large-screen video board to Boone Pickens Stadium.
The jumbotron will reside on the east side of the stadium, attached to Gallagher-Iba Arena. The screen will measure 56 feet by 110 feet; the 6,160-square-foot video board is the third largest in the Big 12 and eighth largest in college football.
"This board not only modernizes the game day experience in Boone Pickens Stadium, but it also brings Oklahoma State to the forefront in this area," OSU athletic director Mike Holder said in a news release. "We have taken input from fans and I believe that adding a premium board like this is a game-changer for all of us who attend Cowboy football games.
