Oklahoma State senior forward Mitchell Solomon wins the opening tip in overtime during OSU's 83-81 victory against Oklahoma on Saturday in Gallagher-Iba Arena.

Mitchell Solomon rushed down the middle of Eddie Sutton Court.

Solomon, a 6-foot-9 senior on the Oklahoma State basketball team, just knocked the ball away from freshman star Trae Young between the 3-point line and midcourt. Young and Solomon ran shoulder-to-shoulder after the ball before Solomon did something Young wasn’t willing to do.

Solomon plunged to the white maple hardwood to secure the ball while Young stayed standing. Solomon slid for a few feet and tossed the ball up to teammate Tavarius Shine, who dunked, sending Gallagher-Iba Arena into a frenzy with 45 seconds remaining.
