When Hubbard tweeted outrage at Gundy’s wardrobe selection – wearing a One America News t-shirt on a fishing trip, two months after Gundy expressed support for President Trump and the pro-Trump network – it started a college football forest fire.
The flames were tempered Monday night when Gundy and Hubbard appeared together on a video – Hubbard apologized for taking to Twitter; Gundy said he would try to be more sensitive – and were doused Tuesday when Gundy really fell on his sword. On a video, Gundy said he met with his team and now understands their opposition to the television network that does not support the Black Lives Matter movement.
