CHARLESTON, S.C. (AP) Chris Olivier had a career-high 18 points, Jeffrey Carroll scored all 17 of his points in the second half and Oklahoma State pulled away from Towson for a 69-52 victory at the Charleston Classic on Thursday.
Olivier, an Eastern Illinois transfer, surpassed the career best of 14 he set in the Cowboys opening win over Tennessee-Martin last Friday night. This time, Olivier's play shut down the Tigers (1-2) and helped Oklahoma State start 3-0 for a seventh straight season.
Olivier had 10 straight points in a 21-9 opening-half run as the Cowboys turned a close game into a runaway.
