OSU's spring game Saturday included almost 100 plays, so there was much to analyze in our first look at the post-Mason Rudolph era:
Deep balls: B Rudolph is gone. But if Taylor Cornelius is the new OSU quarterback, the long ball doesn't have to disappear. Corndog completed just two of seven deep routes, but two of the incompletions were well thrown, and the two completions went for 52 yards (Tyron Johnson) and 50 yards (Landon Wolf), the latter for a touchdown.
Intermediate balls: A Cornelius threw four non-loft passes that were at least 15 yards beyond the line of scrimmage.
