Oklahoma State's Jordan Brailford picked by Washington Redskins in seventh round

Oklahoma State defensive end/linebacker Jordan Brailford knew it was time to move on with his career after a stellar junior season, and the gamble paid off.

The 6-foot-3, 252-pound Brailford was selected by Washington Redskins with the No. 253 overall pick in the seventh round on Saturday. Brailford was the next-to-last player selected.

Brailford led OSU with 9.0 sacks and 16.0 tackles for loss, both of which ranked in the top 25 nationally. He had 54 tackles and seven quarterback hurries.

His versatility began to show its value over the course of the season and into the offseason, showing his ability to play as a traditional defensive end or a stand-up edge rusher.
