Chuba Hubbard was named one of 75 players to the 2020 Doak Walker Award preseason watch list Tuesday. The award is given annually to the country’s in the country.
The Oklahoma State running back was a finalist this past season for the award, which Wisconsin’s Jonathan Taylor won for a second straight season.
Hubbard, however, was the deserving winner as he led the FBS in rushing yards (1,936), rushing yards per game (161.3), yards after contact (1,191), all-purpose yards (2,161), all-purpose yards per game (180.1) and rushes of at least 20, 30, 40, 50, 60, 70, 80 and 90 yards.
