Oklahoma State wrestling ranked 3rd in NWCA poll

A new week means a new set of college wrestling rankings.

On Tuesday evening, the latest installment of the NWCA top-25 rankings were released – Oklahoma State (7-0) checked in at No. 3 following its 43-6 trashing of Big 12 foe Air Force last week. It marked the longest stretch of consecutive weeks in which the Cowboys were ranked in the top three (eight) since the 2018-19 season.

Additionally, there was some movement by OSU wrestlers within the individual rankings after InterMat released its slate of individual rankings.

Here is a look at where each wrestler sits as of Wednesday:

OSU individual InterMat rankings

125 Troy Spratley: 2

133 Reece Witcraft: 18

141 Tagen Jamison: 4

149 Carter Young: 15

157 Caleb Fish: 14/Teague Travis (N/A)

165 Cam Amine: 6

174 Dean Hamiti: 3

184 Dustin Plott: 3

197 Luke Surber: 7

HVWT Wyatt Hendrickson: 3

No OSU wrestlers rose in InterMat’s rankings, which could be pinpointed as a silver lining because of how many hold top-10 rankings up to this point.
