Kyle Haas, the No. 1 heavyweight and sixth overall prospect in the 2021 class by FloWrestling, committed to Oklahoma State on Sunday night.
It comes as no surprise that Haas picked the Cowboys since his older brother is OSU’s first-year recruiting coordinator Tyler Caldwell, who was a two-time NCAA All-American and one-time NCAA finalist for the Cowboys after transferring from Oklahoma.
Haas of Maize, Kansas, won his third and fourth national championship this past June in Akron, Ohio, to earn a spot on the U.S. World Team in freestyle and Greco-Roman.
