Oklahoma State redshirt senior Kaid Brock had surgery to repair a torn ACL and meniscus in his knee this past week and will likely miss the season, reports Seth Duckworth of Pistols Firing Blog.
Brock went 22-9 for the Cowboys last season after moving up to 141 pounds. The Stillwater native was a Big 12 tournament finalist and fell short of earning All-American status for the third time in his career at the NCAA Championships.
Brock, who was a three-time high school state champion at Stillwater, also sustained a season-ending injury as a true freshman at the Southern Scuffle in January 2016.
