Oklahoma State wrestling: Freshman Kaid Brock suffers season-ending injury

STILLWATER — Oklahoma State 133-pound freshman wrestler Kaid Brock suffered a season-ending injury last week in Tennessee at the Southern Scuffle, coach John Smith confirmed Thursday.

Brock — a former three-time state champion at Stillwater High School — shot out of a cannon to begin his OSU career on Dec. 13 by pinning Oklahoma's reigning national champion Cody Brewer in just 42 seconds. Brock earned a technical fall win the following week in a dual victory at Wyoming.

Brock, the ninth-ranked wrestler in his weight class nationally by InterMat.com, reportedly suffered the injury in the semifinals of the Southern Scuffle against No.
