NORMAN — With blood smeared on his face, Dustin Plott kept grinding.
Oklahoma State’s 174-pound wrestler had his match stopped multiple times to clean up the blood that was dripping from his nose, but Plott found a way to get his hand raised in the end.
The No. 17-ranked Plott won an 11-6 decision over OU’s Anthony Mantanona that helped the Cowboys close the door on a 24-10 dual victory on Sunday afternoon at the Lloyd Noble Center.
“We saw Plott find out how hard he could wrestle,” OSU coach John Smith said of the true freshman from Tuttle.
