Oklahoma State women’s tennis found success to advance to the second round of the NCAA Tournament.
After a lengthy delay due to the previous match, along with a weather delay, the Cowgirls worked quickly to defeat Fairfield 4-0 at the Greenwood Tennis Center on Saturday evening.
Head coach Chris Young said the team hasn’t felt any pressure this season. He said they don’t talk about it, so negative thoughts will not get in their heads.
The Cowgirls’ steady mindset showed through again as they played fast and confidently.
The doubles point began the sweep as Anasatasiya Komar and Ange Oby Kajuru, along with Ayumi Miyamoto and Raquel Gonzalez, defeated their opponents 6-0, earning the doubles point.
