Olyvia Dowell scored with 26 seconds remaining in the second overtime, and the No. 6 Oklahoma State women’s soccer team defeated No. 4 West Virginia on Friday at Neal Patterson Stadium.
Gabriella Coleman sent a cross inside the box that Dowell collected then made several moves against Juliana Lynch and drilled a left-footed shot that went off WVU goalkeeper Maddie Murphy’s hands and into the net.
OSU improved to 3-0-0 and toke sole possession of first place in the Big 12 conference.
Hannah Webb intercepted a pass then sent a long pass to Coleman, who out ran the WVU defense then delivered a left-footed shot to the far pot for a 1-0 lead in the 50th minute.
