Oklahoma State women's basketball: Brittney Martin selected No. 25 overall in WNBA Draft

Former Oklahoma State guard Brittney Martin was selected No. 25 overall by the San Antonio Stars in the WNBA Draft on Thursday night.

Martin — who finished the regular season leading the Big 12 in scoring, rebounding and steals — is the fourth Cowgirl in program history be be picked in the draft (Andrea Riley 2010, Toni Young 2013, Tiffany Bias 2014).

Martin was recognized with numerous awards this season, including Big 12 Player of the Year and co-Defensive Player of the Year, third-team Associated Press All-American and honorable mention All-American by the Women's Basketball Coaches Association.
